Cholesterol plays little if any role in bone health as it’s known at this time. Cholesterol is in fact, as pointed out, isn’t linked nearly as much, nor is as closely related to the serum levels. Cholesterol is actually made by by the body, and more specifically in the liver. Which is as per the study, although there are still adherents, to the now badly fourty plus year old and outdated information, compared to the more recent findings that came out in the last fifteen to seventeen years.
Protein and iron, are used though for muscle building and creation, and play at best, a very small role in bone health. Which is something that those who are athletes, body builder, or weight lifters concentrate on,. and promote heavily. Iron is key and important, along with at least some so of the B complex vitamins, in building healthy blood cells.
So if you get into those areas, especially the area of cholesterol, do some digging, and learn the more recent information, regarding what’s been found.
